Kilada: Construction Update
Satellite Images
Phase 1 Development status
- Two fairways (1) which were grassed previously in 2022 are still in a grassed shape.
- Four fairways (2) have been partially planted on areas that were substantially completed and sanded prior to the spring of 2023. The grass on those fairways seems to be maturing since last observed in April of 2024. The statement that four holes were completed in 2023 appears misleading, and only towards the end of H1 2024 reached a more mature state. Nine holes as reported in the latest release were clearly not ready by summer of 2024 despite the recent DCI RNS release.
- Very few workers have been observed on site.
- There continues to be no progress with cart paths or planting of surrounding areas.
- At the club house location (3) no new progress has been observed over the past several month. Only some rusty formwork which were placed months ago and appear completely abandoned (see 1stphoto of 16/4/2024 group).
- DCI continues to mention that 95% of the land has been released from the archaeologists. This figure was also provided in a previous release several months ago. It would be beneficial to understand if the 5% of the remaining land includes the practice range (4), which is a critical component of any golf course and to also understand when the remaining 5% is expected to be released.
- Infrastructure Works appear totally halted without any progress for a very long time. The Infrastructure Works are a necessary prerequisite which must be completed for the real estate to be sold.
